Grice House Museum

Step back in time at the Grice House Museum. Adjacent to the Harbor Beach Marina, the Grice House Museum offers those in the present a glimpse at life in the past. This Gothic, L-shaped house has been refurbished into a museum to display artifacts of Harbor Beach & Great Lakes history.

This house has history of its own. It started to be built in 1874 by three generations of the Grice family. The Grices weren't done completing it until 1960 when the last owner, James Grice, died and the City of Harbor Beach bought the property.

Nowadays, you can visit the kitchen, bedroom, barn, school building, and sewing room. Each room has their own theme of artifacts to visit from antique military items to school items to antique farm implements.
